Gambling
I am not a gambler. That is a dumb thing to admit to in what passes for a poker blog. Yet, I’m painted by media and congress as someone who denies food to children and destroys the sanctity of marriage. It is pretty obvious to the world that I oppose everything that is good in this world for my own selfish ends.
Yeah, I play poker. So, sue me. And they can.
So it was nice to see someone take on the perceptions that have turned me into a second class human and citizen. It was Stossel and the show can be watched here. Andy Bloch is one of the guests as is a ‘reformed bookmaker’ that now has one of those buy my picks operations. But, he goes on to give limited balance with a guest from one of those outfits that has FAMILY in its name.
That guy gets his handed back to him — sliced and diced. He misused statistics and Stossel had done his homework. Fun viewing! Not that much poker content but I appreciate Stossel not competing with my blog.
