NSF my A__

April 14th, 2010 Leave a comment Go to comments

This morning I got an email that a transaction was being reversed because of NSF in my account.  That was far from the truth.

This email is to inform you that funds deposited to your Full Tilt Poker account using Instant eChecks were not collected due to insufficient funds in your bank account.
We have now reclaimed the sum of $100.00 from your Full Tilt Poker account as payment of the outstanding amount.
For your reference the transaction details are as follows:
   * On 2010-04-07 10:23:23 you made a Deposit for $100.00 using Instant eChecks (Transfer Ref: 050E479A).
   * On 2010-04-12 00:00:00 we received a notification from your bank, informing us that there
were insufficient funds in your bank account to cover the Instant eChecks
     deposit.
   * On 2010-04-14 07:31:43 we collected $100.00 from your Full Tilt Poker account in order to recover
     the amount owing.

I responded that I’d answered an automated phone call from my bank that asked me to approve a suspicious transaction of $101 from China.   I did and was amazed that the UIGEA had driven them so far afield.

I think there may be bank issues beyond the obvious going on.   The debit card for that same bank was trouble at UB.  I got the same automated call but the funds never got to the account which is why I don’t play there.

Anyway, I thought I’d warn everybody to get funded adequately before this next round of crack downs.
