There's a new update out that is more than just the security fixes. Now available is a reminder program. I never used the MS reminder setup as I don't trust their bloatware. But, I've always wanted a reminder setup that went beyond the Tclock utility I use to auto start programs.
Well, now I have one and it works inside the Firefox browser. It looks like it will do most if not all I want. The following picture describes most of the features fairly well.

Everytime I try one of these things, I’m sorry, but this one looks pretty useful.
I think I know what you mean. It can take more work to keep up than it ends up being worth. Part is because you have to load/take out your organizer — conscious act, work, hard to be timely.
With this being a background item in something that’s usually around, it seems far less intrusive into my life and conforms to my habits instead of making me conform to its.
BTW, the thing is on the bottom line and when you mouse over it a reminder pops up about future items.
I use Google Calendar in a similar way. I’d be curious to know if there are significant differences. I really like G-calendar because it also pops up reminders on my MyTouch phone automatically.

Bummer.
