That's for sure

He will kill you cat and nail him to the door

That could easily have been the theme song for the little points tournament I just played. I don't have a great history at points tournament play. For some reason I usually take them less seriously than even freerolls. They tend to bring out my gamble gene for some reason.

The preponderance were Scandis but they get a worse name than they possibly deserve. It might be their idiots are more identifiable than the mass of Yank's with similar tenancies.

This one seemed to follow a path similar to past ones of late. I got solid stuff early that I think I exploited well. I was probably too timid with a few spec hands that would have scored had I called the raise. I really didn't manage the difference between stack preservation and implied odds as well as I should have. Late, when things got chilly, I could have done better.

Although, I managed through the middle to have the top stack. Got crushed a bit and the managed a 3-way suckout with the worst hand to get back into contention. I even had second best stack going to the final table. That's where luck went elsewhere.

All told, I got past the bubble and managed to accumulate some extra player points in the process. That's not that great. I'm really looking to bust and start a new account with rakeback.

I should play more tournaments and maybe some SnG's. It was where I prospered and, for now at least, I'm not bored to the point of stupidity.  I'm close to but not at my old form.
