He’s Back
That would be me rather than Mikey. I hadn't planned to be missing but that seems what happened.I've got a fellow that's done a lot of work for me on the house. He's been a Godsend in many ways. The other day week, he gave me a call looking for some work. And, I'm still trying to make this place more livable. It was a great shell I bought a dozen years ago. I'd made getting the tenant unit improved more than my unit.
The most annoying thing left for mine was my bedroom. It had this horrid chocolate paneling. The type with a photo of grain on paper. You know...the really really crappy, cheap stuff. It looked like a cave. So we redid that room and some other stuff that isn't really part of the story.
We got going and I wanted to stay on line as much as possible. That caused some problems and was described as 2 more days if we shut it down or 4 more if we worked around. That was a week ago today. And I'm still not back on line. In the meantime, I'd slept in the recliner more than I'd have believed. I am back in my bed but we still aren't done.
I could go on and on over this but it wouldn't change anything. But...
I'm back … well sorta …
I even think I might get this posted before the day is out.
