Amazon Stuff
I should probably add a link and monetize but I'm poor at that. I want to mention some free software that is now there. It is Kindle software that you can run on a PC. Works well. I've downloaded a few books.
I'm not sure how much I'll use this but I've been using it the last day with satisfaction. The pages look crisp and make for easy reading. I've bought one book and downloaded several. There are a goodly number of $0.00 books available as a plus.
You can go to their site and download the software. The book comes quickly over the net instead of via phone service.
Also, I'm amazed at the features on the printers currently available. Amazon has one from Cannon that is pretty amazing to me. (Yes, I know there is a company called HP.) I used a number of Cannon printers and they have never had the marketing gotchas that you get from other cartridge printer vendors
Today (11/11/09) they have that really nice Cannon printer as a today's special with almost 40 off their regular price. It has some very nice customer reviews
