Poker Perambulation

Our PBS station is rerunning the Civil War.  Attrition is an ugly word.   Drawout is the one we poker players dread.  The Wilderness and PLO are brothers.

 The second Wilderness campaign kicked off with 27,000 Union dead.  Instead of licking wounds, Grant continued on the offensive with similar loss but no less resolve at Cold Harbor.  A licking doesn't mean you're losing.  Next hand.


I don't know all the poker games Grant might have played but he would have been a natural at 6-max PLO.   WCOOP points out the how and why of that.
