How can I lose thee

Let me count the ways.  I am not really whining.  At least I don't think I am.  It is all part of the game.  When I was writing back on PokerWorks, Linda was that cartoon character with the black cloud always overhead.  Fact is we all suffer our bad beats.  Variance is bi-directional.  If you can't look at the big picture, you'll end up bitter about the beats.

Variance has been particularly nasty of late.  If I can hole kings, the other rat hole holds aces.  I even ran into rolled up losing to rolled ups and draw outs.  My straights see 8-high flushes making it on 7th street.  That does get discouraging.

But, when I get honest about it, I have rivered a few too.   That guy betting his set against my aces up; you know the one; the one as likely to be betting 7's up.  Well, on the good days, I'll hit my four outer.  My bad read can turn into solid gold by 7th street now and then.  It is easy to ignore 'your due' and forget what you finally laid on the other guy in a heart beat.

Tilt does happen.  Mostly I can see it and take a hike.   The idea for now is to try to show a profit – even a little one.  But, they seem to be coming after grinding back even then.  It be nice to see the god status light come on for a session but they say patience is a virtue too.  And I'm running mostly in patience mode.

I have been playing some HORSE along with the Stud.  That's worked a bit better.  I've started looking at those tables more.  The HORSE has been kinder.

ADDENDUM:
I touted UB for their great bonus clearing potential.  Well, that went south with the good hands.  I can't really recommend the place for bonus after they tweaked the algorithm.  It is hard or harder to clear bonus there than the other sites.   Evidently they've seen some growth after the bad press or at least feel a bit more secure at keeping players.  Damn but I miss that juicy bonus!

Ride it out! Say’s the other not running God like man of the moment. This whole second nuts thing no matter the game of choice, is getting a tad on the old side quite frankly.
