HDTV
It is doing it thing and my BATTV (Big A.. Tube TV) is showing weakness. Text disappears on the left in many situations. I've been holding off thinking there will be a big price drop as soon as the pipeline fills. So, I wasn't really in a hurry but I was annoyed.
Doing the channel surfing today ran me past HSN. They had a TV/monitor that looked interesting. It was 28” and 1080P. The size seemed ok for the bedroom replacement. As a monitor, it does 1920x1200. More and more attractive. The 1080P for that size isn't a big plus but what the hey.
HSN had it for $499. So, I went looking. Darn but Amazon had it for a hundred less -- $399.95 w. free shipping
This was not in the morning's play book but you go with the flow. With a DVI to HDMI cable it a nice plus on the computer. It has QAM; so it might get me some of the channels that ComCrap moved out of the old range. I hadn't been shopping but the price seemed a deal. The reviews were positive. If HDTV get cheaper, I've still got a nice monitor or TV for another room. Anybody out there been playing with HDTV? Would appreciate your opinion of this puppy.
