B.W.o.P — The Saga

By her own admission, CK has gotten off her not quite Shannon Elizabeth butt and posted about her nice cash at the WSOP.  This was (IMNSHO) the girly tournament of O8 and Stud8.  The girly bit isn’t derogatory.  It points to patience.  And, it gives the distaff group their one, real chance as stalkers.  Women like scooping.  Men like scoop necklines.

If you haven’t read this one you should.  Not only will it give you an idea about how to properly play the high-low games but it provides the flavor/detail those enamored with HH posting should aspire to.  This is SO MUCH better than most of our brag/HH crap.  In fact I’ll call this report the #2 one all-time with #1 given to Shirley Rosario.

I was enamored with the thought process she explained.  Along the way she detail why other’s play was a mistake — the books don’t.  If you like the high-low games or want to play a bit of it via HORSE, she’s given you more than you can get from some books out there.   Felicia Lee used to do tutorial blogs.  You can read the Stud one on her inactive site.  It’d be nice if CK used all that free time she spends bilking tourist and did a few of those.

ADDENDUM:

I’m slowly moving the 244 blogs from the old site to here.  If I goof and don’t put the right dates in (old) then they’ll hit the RSS feed by accident.  My apologies for that.

The lack of spaces between paragraphs is part of this theme.  It does affect readability.  If I can’t kill it, I’ll try a different theme.

Some of the other female poker bloggers also write well, but they tell how they did in general terms and how they feel.

CK tells how she thinks, and there’s a big difference.

“The lack of spaces between paragraphs is part of this theme.”

When I come here, there is no blank line between paragraphs. When I see it in my (google) reader, however, it does have lines to separate paragraphs. Weird.

    Ken,

Thank you for the very kind post. Perhaps I’ll aspire to write more strategy items . . . But that also means I need to start playing more!
