Wars
Mine was Vietnam. That black monolith on the Washington Mall has over 58,000 names. Your war was Iraq and the votes are still out but look promising. His war is Afghanistan and it wasn’t of his making. This week we had the typical dog and pony show – Washington style with photo ops galore.
Joe Galloway was on the sidelines and in the mess itself for all of the above. He is one of two journalist to ever get a bronze star with valor from the army. ADDENDUM:
I’ve been playing another of those DnD type games. Not too impressed with this one. Won’t even name it. I feel like a rat being run through a maze. Yet, its kept me from poker and also stopped me from using this keyboard in a productive (hopefully, at least at times) fashion. I’ll try to do better next week. Damn, that an oft used line…
